New garbage & recycling collection days are Wednesdays and Thursdays, depending on which part of the Village you live in. (see color coded map of collection days here)
Due to the Labor Day holiday on September 5th, the collection dates are pushed back one day. So for those residents whose new collection day is Wednesday, your garbage will be picked up on Thursday September 8th. For those residents whose new collection day is Thursday, your garbage will be picked up on Friday September 9th. After that week, the new regular pick up days of Wednesday and Thursday will begin.
